Where are you based and what areas do you cover?

I’m based in East London and cover areas inside the M25 and Home Counties – mileage applies at £0.5/mile for areas beyond M25

How long in advance should I book my session?

I recommend booking at least 4 weeks in advance – but if your dog is poorly and would like to arrange something quicker then please send an email to [email protected] and I will do my best to accommodate your session at short notice.

What happens if it rains?

If the rain gets too much we simply have to reschedule for another day. Nearer the date of the session, I monitor the weather reports like a hawk and will keep you up to date with regards to the schedule.

How long does a shoot last?

A typical shoot lasts between 1.5 and 2 hours – I will keep shooting until I think I’ve got enough images, or your dog lets us know he had enough. It is best if you don’t schedule any other meeting immediately after the session as I prefer the sessions to be relaxed rather than hurried.

My dog has mobility issues – can you still photograph him?

Yes, all my sessions are tailored considering your pet’s ability.

I have a black dog – can you take good pictures of her?

Yes, as an owner of a black dog – I’m only too aware of how difficult it is to get good pictures of black dogs (same also applies to a white dogs, but to a lesser extent). But along the way I have had a huge amount of practice photographing black dogs, so much so that I love photographing them.

How can I make my dog look his best?

The night before the shoot make sure to give his coat a thorough brushing. It would be helpful to get him bathed before the session, particularly for lighter coloured dogs that are prone to developing stains under their eyes or black dogs who tend to gather a lot of dust on their coat which makes their coat look dull. If you are going to get your dog trimmed/clipped – it is best to do that 1-2 weeks before the session to give their coat some time to recover and look their best.

My dog isn’t very obedient – is that a problem?

Not at all, I’ve worked with dogs of varying levels of obedience and will be able to tailor the session to suit your dog.

What should I bring to the shoot?

You are welcome to bring your dog’s favourite treats, toys – including squeaky toys. Please bring a small clean towel in case we need to wipe any drool or clear up the area around his eyes and a small grooming brush in case we need to give him a quick brush. And do not forget to bring poo bags.

Do you photograph humans along with their pets?

Yes, I love to capture the bond between the owner and their dog so join in when you like.

When and where do you normal shoot?

I shoot early in the morning around 6am during summer and 7:30am during winter. I usually shoot in a public park closer to where you are located – but you are welcome to suggest any particular location you may have in mind

How much should I budget?

The recommended budget is between £500 and £1500. The packaged deals represent best value for money and give you additional discounts on individual products.

What payment methods do you accept?

Bank transfer is the preferred method but will also accept debit and credit card.

Can I purchase a gift card?

Yes, you could buy and gift any of the package deals or you can buy a gift card of a specific value which can be redeemed against a later purchase – please send an email to [email protected] with your requirements

Can I purchase just the digital files?

No, the goal of my business is to create fully finished products – from framed prints to coffee table photobooks that are ready to be displayed in living rooms and offices. However, for every printed product you will receive a matching social media sized digital copy free of charge, so you can share online with your friends and family.

What is a social-media sized image and how do I get it?

A social-media sized image has a resolution that is suitable for online sharing on Facebook or Instagram. These files are small enough, usually less than 1MB, to be easily uploaded to various social media sites. Please note that these files are not suitable for printing. With each printed product you get a matching file for free.

Do you offer commercial photography?

Yes, please send an email to [email protected]

What is a session fee?

A session fee covers my time and experience – it doesn’t include any other products nor digital files.
